ETHICS AND BOUNDARY
TRAINING
Training Description
The Management Group, Inc.
(TMG) has developed an Ethics and Boundary (E&B) Training
that meets Wisconsin's ethics and boundary training requirements for
social workers (offering 6 CEHs) and focuses on real issues facing
long-term care case managers.
Rather than developing a
training that's too academic or focused on social workers as therapists,
TMG's E&B training is designed with long-term care case managers in
mind, using real-world examples from professionals in the field.
TMG's E&B training is
interactive, individualized and focused on:
-
Specific, hands-on decision
making skills
-
Identifying personal and
professional boundaries
-
Brainstorming ideas with
other long-term care case managers
-
Tips for processing E&B
issues
-
Tools for processing E&B
cases
TMG's E&B training provides
tools and competencies for the real situations
case managers encounter. This 6-hour training
provides 6 Continuing Education Hours (CEH) while reviewing important
technical information related to Wisconsin's codes of conduct
(SFC 20) and continuing education requirements (SFC 8). The
training highlights long-term care case scenarios, three hands-on
decision-making tools, and interactive activities related to ethics and
boundaries.
TMG Trainers
TMG trainers have hands-on experience in the world of long-term
care. Having been case managers for Wisconsin's COP-W and CIP
programs, the trainers have experience managing the E&B issues that long-term
care case managers face.
